Video runs on Jitsi Meet (meet.jit.si). The first person to open the room may be asked to sign in with Google or GitHub to start it as moderator. meet.jit.si ends embedded calls after about 5 minutes — a paid Jitsi (JaaS) or the academy's own Jitsi server removes that limit.

Students join from Live class in their app, into the same room. Each name appears in People as they arrive.
