How another app uses it
The same script exposes the update check:
const u = await Hovarn.Update.check(); // { current, latest, available, manifest }
if (u.available) {
const files = await Hovarn.Update.verifyFiles(u.manifest, (f, ok, n, total) => {
console.log(`${n}/${total} ${f.path} ${ok ? 'ok' : 'CHANGED'}`);
});
}Where it stands In use · preview
The signed manifest and file checks are in use on the first academy's preview. The installer that writes files on a self-hosted server is being built with the production server.
