How ranks are worked out
Changed 1 Oct 2026 by Meena Raj · applies from Full mock test 6-
Equal marks share a rank
Two students on the same total get the same rank, shown with an equals sign, and the next rank is skipped. Full mock 6: Divya and Rahul both scored 664, so both are =3 and the next student is 5. We no longer break ties on the Biology mark — it made two equal papers look unequal to parents.
-
Overall progress rank needs at least 3 tests
The term leaderboard students see only includes those who sat at least 3 of the last 5 full mocks. A student who missed tests still sees their own marks and progress — just not a term rank.
-
Absent is not zero
An absent student is marked A, is not ranked and does not pull the batch average down. A student who sat and scored 0 or below is ranked normally.
